On July 1st, the Play-to-Earn Axie Infinity project launched the NFT Lands staking feature to receive rewards in the form of AXS tokens.
Axie Infinity has announced that players can begin to lock NFTs Lands in the game to receive AXS tokens.
Lands were originally NFTs for Axie’s future project, Project K. As a result, players will own their own plots of land, raise livestock/farm on them, and then go to battle with enemies. Axie Infinity is expected to become a true metaverse game in the future.
To stake, players simply go to Ronin’s staking page, connect a wallet, and choose which plots of land to lock. After that, players will be able to see how much AXS they can claim each day. The daily reward for staking Land will be 11,194.62 AXS, divided equally by the amount of land based on rarity.
Axie Infinity’s revenue has decreased since the removal of SLP rewards, as evidenced by the amount of money generated by users’ gaming activities. The release of a new version called Axie Infinity: Origin is also insufficient to keep players interested. Axie Infinity is currently promoting the Builder Program, a franchise that allows other developers to create derivative games using Axie images.
